I found this 1970's commercial on YouTube today. I'm almost positive someone gave me this doll for Christmas one year because I vaguely remember being terrified of it and refusing to sleep in my room until my mom got rid of it.
I don't know what scares me more...the doll or the creepy Exorcist head turns those kids are making. The only way this toy could have been worse is if they painted a clown face on it.
Oh shit.

I find it surprisingly hilarious.
OK, I had to stop it. Soooo creepy. And to the above comment: yes, that UPS clown is freaky. Even more freaky was a friend of mine who lost a baby at 6mo, had it cremated, then placed the ashes inside a clown doll that moved his head. People are weird.
The first one was downright annoying! The second was definitely creepy!
I really wish I hadn't watched that youtube link! That...that is one of the reasons I am utterly TERRIFIED of dolls. And why I never owned one. Ever.
That is creepy! I can't believe anyone would buy that doll after that commercial.
