This Is The Reason Sparklers Were Invented

This is an important weekend for Americans. Most of us are getting a 3 day weekend to celebrate. This is probably the most significant weekend of the year and should be celebrated with excitement, dignity and respect. That's right...Twilight Eclipse is in theaters, y’all!

What? Like you didn’t know that was what I was talking about.

It’s a big deal. I mean, government offices are closing down. Pork ribs are on sale at the grocery store. People are getting drunk. Cities are setting off fireworks.

I think my cup from Burger King really illustrates the immensity of the event.

Oops, my panties just flew off.

Happy Eclipse of July Weekend, Everyone! And God Bless Team Jacob.

That is TOTALLY the reason I just bought 10 pounds of fireworks. seriously though, Twilight can make other books its b*tch. that's just how awesome it is. but I'm team Edward. (fades to black and dramatic music ensues)

What is all this Twilight stuff I keep hearing about?

Twilight - the story of a girl who ultimately has to choose between bestiality and necrophilia. Isn't this an AWESOME culture we live in?! Too bad I live in a town that doesn't have a frickin theater - and I'm too lazy to drive the 30 miles to one that does. Can't wait until it comes out on Netflix! Team Jacob all the way, baby!!

Love the books, not a huge fan of the movies and I would go for team Jacob too!

YES! Team Jacob!! I totally jumped the gun on the weekend. I saw Eclipse LAST NIGHT, and had girlie wet dreams over it.

Hot blooded, check it and see! Raarrr!

Did I mention I'm Team Jacob?

P.S., this movie was far and away better than the first two. From the acting (which was an example of impotence on screen) to the plot. But THIS one RAWKS!

I don't get it. What is this "Eclipse" of which you speak? Some sort of comic strip? A hair regrowth product? Sexual "enhancement" herb?

What are you talking about? There's no eclipse this weekend. Silly.

Sharkboy with his shirt off again?

I'll pass.

uhm, have not been a fan of either the books (currently trying to finish #3) or the movies. But I do think Jacob is one handsome young man (and I said that because even though he is a great piece of A$$, he is the same age as my oldest and that's just WEIRD)

I literally thought a solar eclipse was happening, I got all excited and was asking my boyfriend's kids if they were going to watch "the eclipse"
They were like "Yeah we're going to the movie theater tonight." and I asked them "They have it in theaters now?"
...

Could I sound any more like an old lady? Ha!

Yesterday my four year old and seven year old got Twilight "toys" in their Burger King kid's meals. Really? Really?!?

I myself got a Cullen Family Crest Ring in a kid chicken tender meal the other day. It opens to reveal a holographic Edward portrait. I swooned. And then realized how frigging insane that is to offer 3-8 year olds as a meal perk.
Which is not to say I am not wearing it out and about.
